A sturdy concrete-in handrail with a traditional hammered edge profile, designed for permanent installation into concrete or solid ground. Manufactured at our Halifax workshop from heavy-gauge steel and powder coated in black or white. Available in sizes from 800mm to 3000mm — ideal where a wall-fixing option isn't available.

Frequently asked questions

How deep do the posts need to be set in concrete?
We recommend setting the posts in concrete to a minimum depth of 400–500mm for a stable installation. The amount of post you set in will determine the exposed height of the rail.

How many posts are included?
Two concrete-in posts are included for sizes up to 1800mm. For sizes of 2000mm and above, three posts are supplied to provide additional support along the longer run.

What's the difference between this and the bolt-down version?
The bolt-down hammered edge rail uses a pivot base fixed to the surface with bolts. The concrete-in version has posts set permanently into the ground — better where there's no existing surface to drill into, or where you want a more permanent installation.

Is it available in white?
Yes — both black and white powder coat options are available on most sizes.
